Nov. 20th, 2007 @ 08:32 am Yeeeeeee!
Why am I so excited? It's not for Thanksgiving, though I do love that day, and have so much to be thankful for this year. Thanksgiving is like Christmas Eve to me, and so that means, in my world, Christmas is BLACK FRIDAY. We will be grabbing the first parking space at the Ocean County Mall on Friday morning! I am getting giddy just thinking about it!

Oh, wow, someone else who braves the stores on Friday. It's kind of a tradition for me, one of the best parts of Thanksgiving (aside from the football) is getting the paper and leafing through the ads to see what I'm going to try to get. Getting up on Friday that early sucks, but it's usually worth it...

That is so true-- the newspaper on Thursday is like a Christmas present on its own! I get all happy just thinking about it!

I'm jealous. Dh claimed Black Friday years ago so I always have the kids. My mom and I tried to take them to Black Friday once and WOW-- talk about too dangerous for kids!

Ohhh I know! I am sorry you don't have Black Friday to yourself! The good thing is, it used to be the best day to get bargains, but now it seems like the closer you get to Christmas, the better the bargains are.

Pls remember to tell folks how to join if you're doing this. They MUST send an email so the mod on duty knows who they are :) I knew who she was b/c of the blueboard, but I wasn't actually on duty today so if I hadn't seen the note she'd have been rejected. All requests must have emails b/c we don't have the time to search out data on all the requestees.
